Sales Associate
Position Overview:
Our HQ branch is seeking to hire an Sales Associate with experience in sales environment. As an essential business, our experienced team continues to provide the best customer experience to both commercial and residential clients.
We are looking for high performers who are forward-looking, innovative, enthusiastic, and ambitious team players. Qualified candidates will be motivated self-starters with superb judgment and communication skills, a commitment to excellence and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Select product and create quotes for equipment and supplies.
- Identify appropriate products and services based on customer needs.
- Daily correspondence with customers and vendors to provide excellent customer service.
- Consistently review backorders and update customers on status changes.
- Provide order entry and order logistical support.
- Provide post-sale and warranty support.
- Provide application support, including limited purchasing and job coordination.
- Act as industry knowledge leader to customers and remain up to date on newest industry product changes.
- Cover overflow at the counter and maintain assigned aisles in the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a sales environment with an aptitude to be in a sales role.
- Demonstrated competency of consultative, relationship building, listening, and selling skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in business and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in planning, organizing, and prioritizing.
- Proficient computer skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
